Notes

  1. Sirenia testing almost green. Blocked by recently added SQL custom queries that aren’t Fedora compatible.

  2. Chris: Avalon 8 release coming (using Fedora 6).

    1. Regression Testing ongoing.

    2. Will be announcing upcoming release in Slacks.

    3. PR will need a reviewer.

    4. ActiveFedora work will commit-pinned in Avalon 8.

    5. Daniel: Will we transfer CI to Github Actions with Avalon? Chris: Not in the immediate plans.

    6. Heather: The cost isn’t too much to handle for a bit. We currently have a bank of credits built up that would disappear if we went to the free plan.

    7. Chris: Get rid of nightly builds? May cut usage.

    8. Daniel: Pricing for Circle is very complex, including billable minutes with processing.

    9. Chris: Cost would be more to transfer to Github Actions then the CircleCI cost.

  3. Cancel next week’s dev meeting? Seconded.

  4. Dec 4 2024 Meeting:

    1. Moderator: Daniel Pierce

    2. Notetaker: Chris Colvard

  5. A number of Slack channels have been archived. If desired channel is missing, post to the next best thing.

  6. There may be a bug with Controlled Vocabulary. Daniel Pierce will look into it.
