Are you interested in a Samvera-based ETD solution? If you might be inclined to help pull together requirements, document use cases, and assess current/related solutions (e.g., https://github.com/EducopiaInstitute/etdplus, vanilla Hyrax, and others), please register your interest by adding a row to the table below.

steve van tuyloregon state universityinterested in looking at etd solutions in hyrax and sharing how we're planning to 'do etds' in hyrax with workflows.
University of CincinnatiAt Cincinnati we are taking steps to get our ETDs into our local (Samvera) IR. They are also in a state-wide ETD repository (supported through OhioLINK on an Oracle-based home-grown platform). And, if the thesis author approves, they also go to ProQuest. In our local IR, ETDs are a work-type which generates a facet, like 'documents, articles, 'images', etc. We limit the online submittal of ETDs to authorized folks from our Grad School (and use batch methods to get the ETDs into the IR.)

But this does not mean that all of our ETD needs are met by the multi-purpose IR - we may have some unique export needs as we try to make workflow efficient by exporting from our IR to that state-wide repository and to ProQuest, and it could be desirable to be able to have a unique discovery tool for our ETDs. And thinking big - if Samvera has a solution that enables global discovery of ETDs, better than sending people to ProQuest or a patchwork of local/state repositories, that could be very interesting.

Mark BusseyDCE / UCSB / EmoryGeneral pre-hyrax solution at https://alexandria.ucsb.edu/collections/f3348hkz (encourage Chrissy Rissmeyer to get involved) code it private, but, as our newest Samvera Partner UCSB could use some encouragement to share it. DCE is also working with Emory University for a Hyrax based solution including workflow (encourage Bethany Nash to get involved) - very early days - working code repo is here - https://github.com/curationexperts/laevigata

Tingting JiangVirginia TechEducopia Institute and Virginia Tech are heavily involved in https://github.com/EducopiaInstitute/etdplus based on Sufia 6. We hope to enrich the application with more use cases and features as well as be able to contribute to this community.
University of VirginiaUVa developed a stand alone stack for ETDs based on Sufia. We stripped down all of the social features. All functionality was driven by needs of Graduate Schools. UVa's public github is here: https://github.com/uvalib/Libra2
Chrissy RissmeyerUC Santa BarbaraUCSB currently has ETDs in Alexandria (thanks for the nudge Mark – hopefully the code will be public soon), but looks like we may need to revamp our current ingest process due to our upcoming Alma/Primo migration. Our ETDs come to us from ProQuest and we currently harvest the descriptive metadata from our catalog, but we may need to change this up. The rights metadata comes from the ProQuest file and I have lots of documentation I can share related to how ProQuest embargo metadata has changed throughout the years. Love the idea of developing a shared community solution.
University of OxfordOxford has an existing solution for deposit of e-theses via Samvera. Interested in shared workflows, data model, etc as we move towards updated systems, for UK compliance, harvesting and sharing metadata, and whilst considering possible future e-submission.

We have a Sufia 6 for Research data, and EPrints for theses, but want to move to Hyrax-based solution for both.

Our theses are deposited in EPrints after award of the degree, and administered jointly by the academic office and library. Our solution does not currently encompass submission of the tehses prior to examination, but that could be a very interesting development. Need to support OAI-PMH and UK-ETD metadata profile for UK thesis sharing.
Have a Sufia for Resaerc

Currently building out a Hyrax-based solution that adds an ETD work type (as a child of a top-level work type).  This includes work on a loader to create/update ETDs in the repository from metadata and associated ETD files that come to us through ProQuest.  As such, this will not be self-deposit at first (although perhaps eventually).  Work so far preliminary but under active development, and can be seen at Live with https://scholarspace-etds.library.gwu.edu/ built on Hyrax 1.0.5 - code is at https://github.com/gwu-libraries/scholarspace-hyrax/ - feel free to borrow anything that may be useful.  After production deployment, the next phase will be to migrate content from the Sufia-6-based GW ScholarSpace application as non-ETD work objects. .  Working on upgrade to Hyrax 2.1.0 and, afterwards, migrating over content from https://scholarspace.library.gwu.edu/ which is based on Sufia 6.  Currently students deposit ETDs with ProQuest, which then FTPs the ETDs to us.  We've built a back-end batch loader and rake task to ingest these into the ETD IR. Monika MevenkampPrinceton UniversityWe provide access to Undergraduate Senior Thesis in a DSpace instance. We need a submission system that supports student upload as well as administrator and faculty review. At the moment we are envisioning exporting thesis at the end of a review period to  DSpace.  Thesis are submitted to departments as well as certificate programs and in some cases thesis are submitted jointly to a department and possibly several certificate programs.
Stanford UniversityOur ETD app was first launched in 2009. We're looking forward to the development of a Samvera-community ETD solution; we have aspirations to leverage the work and migrate to the new solution when it is available. We have a solid set of business requirements that haven't changed much – that we'd be happy to share. I'm the current service manager for our ETD service, which is supported by my department, Digital Library Systems and Services, in collaboration with the Stanford University Registrar.
