Scope & Objectives

Explore the crossover between the roles of project and service management, including:  

• Overlapping roles of service manager, product owner, repo and project manager

• Interest in learning more about agile in order to better work in teams and collaborate

• Recommendations about roles and methodologies

• Moving from project management to sustaining services

• Bridging gaps between developers and non-developers

• Align the local efforts with the

  community Applying agile practices

• Provide a support network and sounding board for repo-managers to ask questions and to share implementation details.

• Share locally implemented features, customizations, and workflows outside vanilla product(s).

• Provide collective input on the Hyrax roadmap and feature development, providing use cases, proposals, and providing real-time input on implementation of features.

Proposed deliverables/working sub groups

• Create a testing/bug reporting network to ensure Hyrax releases are stable and ready for production.

• Create and maintain Hyrax Documentation geared toward repo-managers and end-users

• Figure out process/workflow for providing input and use cases from repo-managers for Hyrax
