    1. After call, this week's notetaker should create the agenda for the next call:

      1. Open template agenda titled "Samvera Tech Call 2023-xx-xx"

      2. Click on ... in the top right corner, and select copy.

      3. Popup will open for location. It should contain:

        1. Space: Samvera

        2. Parent page: 2023

      4. Select copy. New page should be created.

      5. Modify the title to remove "copy of", update it with the next date, add moderator, notetaker, and any carry-over agenda info. Click Publish.

Notes

  1. Transition to GitHub Actions from CircleCI

    1. SoftServ is planning on making initial pass

    2. Start with Hyrax since it uses the most credits

      1. Core components can follow later and don’t need paid credits since they don’t run very often

    3. Just need to make CI work with GH Actions then turn off CircleCI (and stop paying for credits)

    4. Do we need an institution with compute power?

      1. Don’t think so

    5. What about gitlab? Surfliner uses it.

  2. Hyrax-Valkyrization work (Hyrax 5.0)

    1. Down to 400 failures on Koppie tests

    2. Lots of great work this sprint!

  3. Rails 7.1 upgrading

    1. Jonathan Rochkind did it with a non-Hyrax app

      1. Proves blacklight, QA, and browse-everything are working in Rails 7.1

      2. Maybe there is something Hyrax and other Samvera apps can glean from this work
