    1. After call, this week's notetaker should create the agenda for the next call:

      1. Open template agenda titled "Samvera Tech Call 2022-xx-xx"

      2. Click on ... in the top right corner, and select copy.

      3. Popup will open for location. It should contain:

        1. Space: Samvera

        2. Parent page: 2022

      4. Select copy. New page should be created.

      5. Modify the title to remove "copy of", update it with the next date, add moderator, notetaker, and any carry-over agenda info. Click Publish.

  • Hyrax 4.0 Beta 1

    • About ready to be released - only thing left is release notes

  • ActiveEncode release?

    • Newer code has sprockets pin removed

    • Chris will check if a release already exists and create one if not

  • Hyrax roadmap

    • Current major project: Hyrax 4 (Rails, Blacklight, Bootstrap upgrades)

    • Next major project: Valkyrization

      • Not typically work of Hyrax Maintenance Working Group but will see if they can take it on

      • If not HMWG then will see how to get community involved (Dev Congress, community sprints, etc.)

    • Dependency management (https://github.com/samvera/hyrax/issues/5357)

      • Dependabot - used by some already - security audits of gems / npm packages only so far

      • Renovate - interest in adopting this since it also can do docker audits

      • Snyk - Avalon has used this but only for security audits; thinking about dropping since dependabot integration in github

      • Daniel - Possibly try out renovate since there is interest and experience

      • Julie - Worth trying it out and seeing if it helps burden on HMWG

    • New Hyrax PO starting in October!

  • hydra-derivatives uses old (and unofficial) version of kakadu for CI testing

    • Chris - added as a stop-gap when trying to get other fixes released

    • Daniel has gotten a newer sdk download URL and will create a pull request
